According to information provided by BSE Wholesale Transactions, SBI Mutual Fund purchased shares of PVR for 229 crores, ICICI Prudential Mutual Fund purchased shares of PVR for 100 crores, and a French FPI purchased shares of PVR for 51.20 crores in paid-up capital. This implies that PVR 380 crores’ shares were purchased by these mutual funds and FPIs.
Following the release of this information, the PVR share price today opened positively and rose to an intraday high of 1,585 on the NSE, up 2.50 percent from Monday’s closing. 1,546 for each share.

ICICI Prudential Mutual Fund Investment
Moreover, PVR shares were purchased by ICICI Prudential Mutual Fund for 1,559.35 per share. On March 20, 2023, a large purchase of 6,41,300 PVR shares was made by ICICI Prudential Mutual Fund. This indicates that PVR shares were purchased by ICICI Prudential Mutual Fund for almost 100 crores ( 1,559.35 x 6,41,300).
French FII bought stake
Similarly, France-based FPI Societe Generale-ODI bought 2.43 lakh PVR shares, making payment 1,559.35 means FII invested 51.20 cr.
Mauritius based FII Books Profit
Yet, FII Berry Creek Investment Company of Mauritius reported gains of RM 1,559.35 each. FIIs with its headquarters in Port Louis sold 2,439,301 PVR shares at a price of 1,559.35 per share. As a result, FII received 380 crores in seafood from the business ( 1559.35 x 24,39,301).
