Following TPG’s block sale of its entire 7.62 percent stake in Campus Activewear, the company’s shares fell nearly 9 percent. For a total of Rs 806 crore, the major private equity firm sold 23.2 million shares at Rs 347.24 per share.
Fidelity and Societe Generale were among the buyers. On the NSE, the shoe manufacturer’s shares traded for Rs 1,229 crore, closing at Rs 338.
In May 2022, the campus was listed. The company had offered Rs 292 per share in its initial public offering. The stock reached Rs 640 after this. The organization was esteemed at Rs 10,321 crore at the last close.
The business had reported a net profit of Rs 48 crore on Rs 466 crore in revenue for the quarter that ended in December 2022.
