According to HDFC Securities, gold prices fell by Rs 480 to Rs 58,770 per 10 grams in the national capital on Wednesday amid a fall in the precious metal prices internationally.
In the previous trade, the yellow metal had closed at Rs 59,250 per 10 grams.
Silver also declined by Rs 345 to Rs 68,850 per kg.
HDFC Securities Senior Analyst (Commodities) Saumil Gandhi said, “Spot prices were trading lower by Rs 480 per 10 grams at Rs 58,770 per 10 grams in Delhi markets.”
In the overseas market, both gold and silver fell to $ 1,939 an ounce and $ 22.34 an ounce, respectively.
Comex gold prices declined in Asian trading hours on Wednesday after the prices declined by around 1.80 per cent in the previous session.
